WATCH: After Deadly 90° Bridge, Bhopal's 'Time-Travelling' Clock Tower Goes Viral

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal recently made headlines for its newly constructed flyover with a 90° angle. 

Now, another bizarre structure in Bhopal has been highlighted by the Indian National Congress, a strange ‘clock tower.’

In fact, Congress posted a video of a digital clock tower located at the Polytechnic Square in Bhopal social media which shows a different time on each of its four sides.

As one of the sides showed 8:58 pm, the other one showed 9:05 pm. Whereas, one side was said to be nonfunctional.

Even Congress Kerala took to its official X handle to troll the clock and said, “The world famous ₹40 Lakh clock tower of Bihar Sharif can take rest. Bhopal clock tower is here to help!”

After the viral 90-Degree Bridge, the video of this malfunctioning clock is doing rounds on social media.

The clock tower was built during the Global Investors Summit held in February 2025 to enhance the beauty of the city. However, it is now being mocked online for its poor timekeeping.

People on social media are jokingly calling it a ‘time travel device’ and even referring to it as the ninth wonder of Bhopal.’ 

One of the users said, “After a 90-degree turn flyover, Bhopal presents a time-traveling clock tower. Bhopal isn’t for beginners.”

The incident has sparked laughter and amazement among locals and netizens.
