Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Newly inaugurated Ambedkar Setu (CG Flyover) in Bhopal is emerging as the new stunt arena for some youths. The 3km-long bridge connecting Gayatri Mandir to Ganesh Mandir in MP Nagar was built to provide a smooth traffic-free route for the commuters, however is being used by rowdy youths for racing and stunting!
Recently, a group of youths were seen pulling off dangerous car stunts on the Ambedkar Setu in Bhopal. The video got viral on internet, raising serious concerns about road safety in the city.
The viral video shows, two speeding sedans on the busy bridge, with youths leaning out of the window and few of them were sitting on the window frame. The youth handling the steering were seen driving recklessly, causing inconvenience to other c.ommuters
In an alarming sight, one of the driver of white Ciaz was seen leaning on the window frame and holding the roof rail, while the car was in motion. The incident occurred just few months after the bridge was officially inaugurated.
The speeding cars vehicles raced side by side and endangered the commuter's life. The incident sparked public outrage and raised concern among residents. Netizens are demanding immediate action against all the youths.
Officials have urged citizens to avoid such risky activities in public spaces and to prioritize safety on the roads.
