Massive Blaze Breaks Out In Gwalior's House After Short Circuit, Motorcycles, Scooter Turned Into Ashes | Representative Photo
Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A short circuit triggered a massive fire at a house in Gwalior on Thursday-Friday night.
The incident took place, near Kali Mata Mandir in Ghas Mandi in Hari Singh Kushwaha's house at around 1:30am. The family was sleeping after having dinner, when smoke started rising from the room after a short circuit in AC. The smoke turned into a blaze in no time. Singh immediately rushed his family out of the house.
Singh informed the electricity department and got the lights of the area switched off and called the first responders.
The fire took a terrible form before the fire brigade could even arrive. All the household items, two motorcycles and an Activa were burnt to ashes. After continuous efforts for straight two hours, four fire brigade vehicles were able to control the rising blaze.
According to reports, there was no loss of life in this accident neither was anybody injured in the fire. Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar visited the spot review the damage.
He met the victim's family and directed the SDM to provide financial assistance as per rules. The causes of the fire will be further investigated.
