Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A disheartening incident came to light, where a 21-year-old girl was allegedly abducted, drugged, forcibly married and then gangraped by 3 men in Gwalior.
According to the police reports, the victim was strolling back home from a nearby shop when she was stopped and confronted by Kalu alias Anil Balmiki. Previously, the victim pressed molestation charge on Kalu and he was pursuing her to withdraw the charges, upon refusal he along with his aides identified as Muqeem Khan and Dinku alias Aamir Khan kidnapped her.
The 3 accused allegedly forced the victim into an ambulance and drugged her. When she gained her consciousness back, she found herself in a wedding attire in a temple in Orchha.
According to the victim, the accused threatened to kill her father and brother upon refusal. And later she was allegedly forced to marry Kalu.
The accused later brought her back to Gwalior and kept her in an abandoned house in Lakkarkhana area. There she was raped by all the 3 accused. She was brutally assaulted by the accused and was taken to court later was forced into giving false statements.

The victim's family had reported her missing for days. After the court statement, she reunited with her family.
Initially the survivor didn't confront any of this to anyone as she feared for her family's safety. Later, she confided the traumatic incidents to her parents, they supported her in filing an FIR.
Police initiated a probe and pressed multiple charges of abduction, rape, assault and forced marriage.
