Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Special Investigation Team (SIT) from Shillong, probing the murder of transport businessman Raja Raghuvanshi, returned to Indore late Saturday night.
Working with the local Crime Branch, officers searched the Mahalaxmi Nagar house of broker‑contractor Shilom James for about 30 minutes, examined several documents and then took him away in two cars.

The team plans more searches in Indore and nearby areas, including Ratlam, where officers were seen at the Industrial Area police station around 3 pm on Sunday. They declined to comment on the ongoing operation.

Sonam stayed in a flat owned by Lokendra in Indore after Raja’s murder. Balveer, who worked as both guard and carpenter in the building, is accused of helping cover up evidence.
All three now face charges of destroying and tampering with evidence as the SIT tries to recover missing valuables and piece together the events leading to Raja Raghuvanshi’s killing.
