Prime Minister Narendra Modi To Inaugurate GIS In Bhopal, Launch New Industrial Policies Of MP, Says CM Mohan Yadav
The Chief Minister also conducted a comprehensive review of the GIS preparations.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the two-day Global Investors Summit at 10 AM on February 24.
The Prime Minister will also launch Madhya Pradesh's new industrial policies and visit the Madhya Pradesh Experience Zone, which will showcase the state’s rich heritage, progress, and aspirations through a digital walkthrough.
He was addressing the first meeting of the Apex Committee formed to ensure the success of GIS at Samatva Bhawan in the CM House, Bhopal, on Tuesday. Directing officers to leave no stone unturned in the summit preparations, he emphasized that the event aims to attract investment to strengthen the state’s economy. He instructed all departments to work in a coordinated manner to ensure the summit's success.
The Chief Minister also conducted a comprehensive review of the GIS preparations. He directed officials to present the state’s policies effectively to investors during the summit. Additionally, he emphasized that guests arriving from India and abroad should be welcomed in a traditional manner.
To make the summit memorable, the state’s culture, diverse products, and traditional cuisine will be showcased in an impressive way, ensuring that guests leave with a positive experience. He also directed officials to decorate the entire city and its lakes. Battery-operated boats will be introduced at the Upper Lake to enhance the experience.
During the meeting, it was informed that representatives from more than 60 countries will attend the GIS. So far, 31,659 registrations across different categories have been completed.
