'Only Congress Has Wrongs?': Vivek Tankha Slams BJP Over ED Action On Bhupesh Baghel's Son

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): Rajya Sabha MP and senior Congress leader Vivek Tankha, while speaking to the media at the Jabalpur High Court, strongly criticised the BJP over recent Enforcement Directorate (ED) actions.
He was speaking related to the arrest of former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel’s son.
Tankha questioned the timing and intent of such actions and said, “It looks like all the wrongs in the country exist only in the Congress party. BJP leaders seem to be perfectly clean and honest. I keep saying this again and again,” he added in a taunting tone.
He referred to a recent Supreme Court ruling, stating that the ED must have strong evidence before making any arrest. “But who is following the rules these days?” he asked.
Tankha expressed hope in the judiciary, saying, “I trust that the country’s courts will do justice to Congress and its leaders.”
He also remarked, “There used to be a time when the Constitution and law had importance in this country, when rule of law mattered. But today, no one seems to care about these things.”
Tankha pointed out that this is not the first time such action has been taken against Congress leaders and called it a clear example of political targeting.
