Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): MP has turned into a laboratory for the BJP in terms of organising women-centric programmes.
The party has launched most of the women-centric welfare schemes and organised functions on women’s issues in MP. The women’s empowerment meet held in the presence of Prime Minister indicates that the party will organise more such events in the coming days.
Although it is not easy to hold such a big rally of women, the BJP has done it in Bhopal. The BJP has always focused on women voters in MP. After the BJP formed a government in MP in 2003, Uma Bharti was the chief minister.
When Shivraj Singh Chouhan took over as chief minister, he, too, focused on women’s issues. The Ladli Lakshmi, Kanyadaan and Ladli Behna Yojanas brought women voters closer to the BJP.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is also following his predecessor. After taking over as chief minister, whenever Yadav transfers money to the accounts of the Ladli Behnas, he interacts with them in a district.
It is said that the Ladli Behna Yojna is one of the main factors behind the formation of the BJP government in 2023. The BJP has launched various schemes for women’s welfare, including Ladli Behna, in many states.
By celebrating the tercentenary of Queen Ahilya Bai, Yadav has taken a major step to connect women with the party. A function was organised in Jabalpur on the birth anniversary of Queen Durgawati.
The BJP is planning to organise functions in the name of eminent women who contributed a lot to the country’s progress. The BJP’s purpose is to keep women voters with the party to maintain its supremacy in the coming days. Thus, the party is working towards this direction from now.
