Sheopur (Madhya Pradesh): Four people lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Madhya Pradesh's Sheopur district on Sunday night. A Scorpio car collided with a tree in the Kali Talai area. The accident occurred when the driver lost control while trying to save a cow that suddenly came onto the road.

All the people in the Scorpio were residents of Kotputli in Rajasthan. The deceased was identifies as  Vijendra Jat, Hariram Yadav, Mukesh Yadav, and Haba Singh Gurjar. Hariram and Mukesh Yadav were father and son. The rural police station sent all four bodies to Sheopur District Hospital.

According to police station in-charge Shashi Tomar, while trying to save the cow, the vehicle lost balance and collided with a tree on the roadside. The vehicle was completely damaged in the collision.

The police took out all the deceased from the damaged vehicle. The post-mortem of the bodies is being done in the district hospital.

This incident happened while they were returning from Ashoknagar to Kotputli. Locals rushed to the spot after hearing the loud crash but all four had died on the spot due to the impact.

Police are investigating the matter and contacting the families of the victims to hand over the bodies after post-mortem.
