Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): A teacher died after falling from the roof of his own house in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur while he was on a call with his son, as reported on Thursday.
According to information, the deceased was identifies as Hemant Kumar Mahor, a resident of Gahod village of Bhind district, and the incident occurred on Wednesday around 8:30 pm.
He was posted in CM Rise School in Chandla of Chhatarpur district.
It is said that Hemant was standing on the roof of his rented house and was talking to his elder son Sahil on the phone, when he suddenly lost his balance and fell down from the roof.
After about two hours, the family tried to contact Hemant again but they could not contact him.

After that the family called his friend to ask about his whereabouts. However, they had no clues about him.
Later, they reached his residence and found him lying unconscious. In a hurry, the people present at the spot took Hemant to Chandla Health Center where the doctor declared Hemant dead on arrival.
On receiving the information, Chandla TI Udayveer Singh Tomar reached the spot at 10 pm and started investigating the matter.
At present, a case has been registered on the matter.
The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem. The family is inconsolable due to the loss.
