Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): High Court, principal bench of Jabalpur, on Wednesday has sought the reply from state government on the posting orders issued by misinterpreting the orders of the High Court and the Supreme Court.
HC expressed concern at DPI Commissioner locus standi on posting orders issued afresh from Tribal to DPI, ignoring the three years of experience and 90% salary of the concerned primary teachers which has been challenged in the High Court.
The High Court has also sought reply from the Principal Secretary of School Education Department and Principal Secretary of Tribal Welfare , along with the District Education Officers of Sagar, Satna, Sidhi, Katni and Guna, who issued the erroneous orders on the instructions of the DPI Commissioner.

The petition has been filled for misinterpreting the reservation laws in the appointments of primary teachers.
DPI ordered that the talented candidates of the reserved category should be given posting in DPI schools within 20 days from the date of order as per their first preference.
Despite HC order, DPI did not comply and filed slp(c) in the Supreme Court. It was dismissed by the Supreme Court on April 25, 2025 on preliminary hearing and the orders of the Division Bench of the High Court were confirmed.
Senior advocate rameshwar thakur who appeared on behalf of petitioners, said that DPI instead of complying with the orders, directed the concerned District Education Officers (Sagar, Sidhi, Katni, Guna, etc.) on June 12, 2025 and issued fresh appointment orders for the petitioners.
The service of more than two years of the concerned persons in the tribal department was not taken into account and at present the petitioners were getting 90%, and an order was issued to appoint all of them in DPI schools on 70% salary.
Notice was issued to Principal Secretary School Education Department, Tribal Department, Commissioner DPI, Commissioner Tribal, District Education Officer Sagar, Katni, Siddi, Guna including Employee Selection Board and reply was sought."
