Sehore (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said industrial units worth ₹2,000 crore will be set up at Badiakhedi in Sehore.
Over 100,000 MT of vegetables will be procured in Sehore to benefit two lakh families, he said. Yadav made the statements at the foundation-laying ceremony of industrial units in Badiakhedi in Sehore on Saturday.
Food processing industries being set up in the state will encourage the farmers to increase vegetable production, he said, adding that such industries will create job opportunities.
Sehore will also get the benefits of the Parvati and Kali-Sindh river project, and Sehore is set to become part of the Bhopal metropolitan city in the coming days, he said.
The importance is growing in the eyes of the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Once, India was called a Golden Bird. But now it is called a Golden tiger,” he said.
According to him, every second or third an industry is opening in the country, and the youths are getting benefits from it. The state government is giving special incentives for setting up the job-orientated industries, he said.
According to Yadav, there are many challenges for setting up industries. The government is ready to cooperate with the industrialists to establish job-based industries, he said, adding that the government’s purpose is to stop the youths from going out of the state for jobs.
The state will give ₹6,000 every month to industrial units for female workers and ₹5,000 for male workers for ten years, he said.
