According to information, a youth filed a complaint that his two-wheeler was stolen from his home in Jabalpur on 26 October 2024, and he lodged a complaint at Shahpura police station. Exactly one month later, he received a text on 26 November 2024 that a challan of Rs 500 had been issued against his vehicle. When he further checked the details, he was apprised that SI Vijay Pushp has issued the challan of his stolen vehicle. The thieves were riding the vehicle and even paid the money. Had the police done its work efficiently and asked for the vehicle papers, they would know the vehicle belongs to him. Similarly, the complaint was filed on a police portal, and even then they failed to check that it was a stolen vehicle.
