Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Serial bride Anuradha Paswan and her gang members had called many people to Bhopal on marriage pretext and looted them, police investigation has revealed.
The gang used to take ₹2 to ₹5 lakh through agents and would call the candidates to Bhopal for marriage. Anuradha would refuse to go with the groom once the gang had received the cash.
Investigations revealed that gang member Roshni used to pose as Anuradha’s mother while Krishna, Sunita, Yadav Kaka and posed as her relatives.

Sawai Madhopur police station (Rajasthan) ASI Meethalal Yadav said police received audio clips, which revealed that Anuradha married and duped over 25 people across several states. She married and duped men in Guna, Harda, Dewas, Ujjain, Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh besides those in Jodhpur, Chhitorgarh, Kota, Sawai Madhopur among other places.
Rajasthan police found that FIR was registered against Anuradha and some of her agents in Chhitorgarh, Guna and other places. Till now, names of around one dozen gang members have come to light.
Sawai Madhopur police station staff had busted the gang a week ago following a complaint and arrested the serial bride Anuradha Paswan, a resident of Chhola Mandir area in Bhopal. Hailing from Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh, Anuradha joined the gang around year ago after separation from her first husband.
