ED Raids Jabalpur Builder & Ex-RTO Constable Saurabh Sharma’s Relative Rohit Tiwari's Residence
Making a major twist to the raid, the ED team arrived in a vehicle with ‘PRESS’ written on it. As per sources, the investigation was initiated early in the morning on Friday.

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the premises of builder Rohit Tiwari in Jabalpur on Friday. The raids are said to be an extension of the action taken against ex-RTO constable Saurabh Sharma.
The ED team arrived in a vehicle with ‘PRESS’ written on it. As per sources, the sleuths reached Tiwari's residence in Shastri Nagar early in the morning on Friday.
To ensure security during the operation, CRPF personnel have been deployed outside Rohit Tiwari’s residence. The ED is questioning all the family members as part of the investigation.
The raids are not limited to Jabalpur, the ED sleuths also reached Saurabh Sharma's Gwalior residence. Like Jabalpur, CRPF has been deployed outside his lavish bungalow at Vinay Nagar.
Similarly, a team of ED also reached Sharma's residence in Arera Colony, Bhopal on Friday afternoon.

It is also said that Rohit Tiwari is a relative of ex-RTO constable Saurabh Sharma. According to sources, Sharma invested a huge sum of money in builder Tiwari's company, Omega Realcon Pvt Ltd.
Notably, ED registered a case of money laundering against Sharma following raids at his residence. The Income Tax department seized 52 kilograms of gold bricks, silver, and Rs 11 crore cash from an abandoned car said to have a connection with the former RTO constable in Bhopal.
Regarding the raid at builder Rohit Tiwari, the search and interrogations are ongoing at present. More details are expected by late evening.
But, where is Saurabh Sharma?
Saurabh Sharma and his wife are currently absconding. The Income Tax department has issued a Look Out Circular against him. According to close sources, the couple is said to be either in Mumbai or Dubai. Their exact location is yet to be traced.
A team of Lokayukta police has swung into action to nab them.
Special Court Lokayukta Bhopal rejected the anticipatory bail application of Saurabh Sharma on Thursday. Now his advocate will move to the High Court.
