Bhopal’s Lal Parade Ground Holds Final Rehearsal For Independence Day Celebration
On August 15, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will hoist the national flag at the state-level event, where police personnel will also be awarded medals.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The final full-dress rehearsal for Independence Day event took place at Bhopal’s Lal Parade Ground on Wednesday.
On August 15, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will hoist the national flag at the state-level event, where police personnel will also be awarded medals.
The parade was attended by DGP Kailash Makwana and senior officials of Bhopal Police. They reviewed the arrangements from the parade salute to the medal distribution ceremony.
A total of 17 contingents, including the police band, took part in the joint rehearsal.
These included Uttar Pradesh Police, Special Armed Force (Northern Zone), Women’s Special Armed Force, District Force & Railway Joint Unit, Special Armed Force (Southern Zone), Hawk Force, STF and several other units.
Different contingents are going to take part in the main event.
School children to participate, tableaux to be displayed
Also, schoolchildren will participate in the celebrations, along with a large number of tableaux. In the main programme, Bhopal Crime Branch Additional DCP Shailendra Singh Chauhan will receive a medal.
Other arrangements inside the stadium were also thoroughly checked during the rehearsal, including security, crowd management, parking. Senior officers from Police Headquarters, district administration, and Bhopal Police were present on the occasion.
