Bhopal's First Maha Kumbh Special Train Leaves With Over 1500 Devotees
This train departed from platform number 2 of Rani Kamalapati station with approximately 1,500 passengers onboard.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): On the occasion of Mahakumbh Mela 2025, for the convenience of devotees, the Rani Kamalapati-Banaras-Rani Kamalapati Kumbh Mela Express Special train, operated by the West Central Railway, Bhopal Division, departed for Banaras from Rani Kamalapati station on Thursday.
This train departed from platform number 2 of Rani Kamalapati station with approximately 1,500 passengers onboard.

This special train will pass through Rani Kamalapati, Mandideep, Obedullaganj, Budni, Narmadapuram, and Itarsi stations under the Bhopal Division.
Train number 01661, a bi-weekly special train, will depart from Rani Kamalapati station every Monday and Thursday at 11:10 AM and will reach Banaras at 10:15 AM the next day. Similarly, train number 01662, a bi-weekly special train, will depart from Banaras every Tuesday and Friday at 2:45 PM and will arrive at Rani Kamalapati station at 11:30 AM the following day.
The train will have stoppages at the following stations: Mandideep, Obedullaganj, Budni, Narmadapuram, Itarsi, Sohagpur, Pipariya, Gadarwara, Kareli, Narsinghpur, Shridham, Madanmahal, Jabalpur Junction, Deori, Sihora Road, Katni Junction, Jhukahi, Maihar, Satna Junction, Jaitwar, Majhgawan, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, and Chunar.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) Saurabh Kataria informed that the train consists of a total of 22 coaches, which include:
02 AC second-class coaches
04 AC third-class coaches
07 AC third-class economy coaches
05 sleeper-class coaches
02 general-class coaches
