Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 30-year-old Ayurveda student drowned in Upper Lake while he was taking a bath with his friends on Friday evening. The body of the student was recovered on Sunday and has been sent for post-mortem examination, police said.

According to reports, hailing from Bhind, Vivek Sharma was a student of Ayurveda and was doing internship at Pandit Khushilal Ayurveda Hospital. On Friday evening Vivek and his friends visited lake near Sair Sapata under Kamla Nagar police station.
They entered water to take bath. However, Vivek slipped and went into the deep water. His friends called police when he did not come out.

Divers launched a search for Vivek but to no avail. On Sunday, Vivek’s body was found floating in the water and was taken out by the divers. Police said that the body has been handed over to his relatives after post-mortem.
