Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): A video from the Badnawar-Barnagar highway toll plaza has gone viral on social media. Several people were injured in the incident on Sunday.

After the incident, angry people protested at the toll plaza.

In the video, toll workers are seen behaving badly with people. They can be seen pushing people, beating them, breaking glasses of vehicles.

According to reports, the fight started when a person had an argument with the toll staff.

Soon, the argument turned into a serious clash between two groups. Several people were injured in the incident.

Police have registered a case and started an investigation. Locals said that such disputes are common at this toll plaza, but this one was the most serious so far.

After the incident, angry people protested at the toll plaza. They said there is no proper security at the toll, and this violence is the result of that.

In response, police have increased security at the toll plaza and urged people to remain calm while the investigation continues.

No one filed a complaint, but the Ingoriya Police took the matter seriously and acted on their own.

They found and arrested five toll workers seen in the video:

Surendra Singh alias Sonu Singh, 35 years old, from Kharsod Khurd

Harshvardhan Singh, from Bhatpachlana

Sandeep, 26 years old, son of Mohanlal Choudhary, from Bherawad

Ranveer, 28 years old, son of Vishwanath Umath, from Talen (Rajgarh district)

Vijendra, son of Raghuveer Singh Chandrawanshi, also from Talen

Police took them to court, and the court sent them to jail.

The police said they are always working to keep people safe and maintain peace. Ujjain MP Anil Firojiya also looked into the matter earlier in the day.

People are now asking for better safety and behavior at toll plazas.
