Bhopal: Collection Agent Stabbed, Cash Around 70,000 Looted By Miscreants |
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Unidentified bike borne miscreants stabbed the collection agent of a firm and snatched his bag containing the cash and his costly phone under Gautam Nagar police station on Wednesday afternoon.
The victim’s aide chased the miscreants but they sped away on their bike. Efforts are underway to identify and arrest the miscreants, police said.
According to reports, resident of Chhola Mandir area Aditya Arya (24) works as a collection agent in a salt company. On Wednesday Aditya had gone to collect cash from the clients. After collecting cash from old city areas, Aditya reached the 80 feet road when two miscreants on a bike came from behind and stabbed him in the back.

One of the miscreants snatched Aditya’s bag and his iphone as he fell down from the bike. Aditya’s aide Anil who was on another bike tried to chase the looters but they sped away. Anil then informed police and the company officials about the incident.
Aditya claimed that the bag the miscreants snatched carried cash between ₹50 000 to ₹70,000. In-charge at Gautam Nagar police station Mahendra Singh said police have received some footage of the miscreants and efforts are underway to trace them.
