Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 19-year-old B.Com student was found hanging at her residence in Bhopal’s Risaldar Colony, as reported by police on Tuesday night.
The reason behind the tragic incident is yet to be ascertained, as no suicide note was found at the scene.
As soon as information was received, police registered a case and started to investigate the matter.
According to information, the deceased was identified as Nisha Kushwah, daughter of the late Vijay Kushwah. She was a B.Com second-year student at Chhola Government College and was also working as a receptionist at a CA’s office in Bhopal.

According to Gautam Nagar police, Nisha’s mother was busy with household chores on Tuesday evening, and her brother was away at work. When her mother went to call her for dinner, she couldn’t find her in her room.
After calling out and getting no response, she checked the store room, only to find Nisha hanging from a saree.
She immediately raised an alarm and called neighbors for help. The police were informed soon after. Nisha’s body was taken for a post-mortem and handed over to the family on Wednesday afternoon.
The police said they have not yet recorded detailed statements from the family. Since no suicide note was recovered, the reason for Nisha’s suicide remains unclear.
At present, police are investigating the matter.
