8-Year-Old Crushed To Death After Dilapidated Wall Collapses On Him In MP's Bhind; CCTV Captures Tragic Scene
Now, residents are demanding strict action against the owner so that such tragic incidents do not happen again.

Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): An eight-year-old boy died after a rickety brick wall collapsed on him in Gwalior on Tuesday. The accident happened when the child was returning from the school. He tried to jump over the boundary wall when it suddenly crumbled and fell on him.
The entire incident was caught on CCTV installed in the area. In the footage, the boy can be seen trying to climb the wall when it suddenly collapses on him.

The incident is of Gandhinagar area, which has left the entire neighbourhood in shock and anger.
According to information, the boy, Rohit, was a Class 1 student at Rishri Gyan Mandir School.
After school, he was standing near a vacant plot just opposite the school. The plot belongs to a man named Bhanupratap Singh and had an old, damaged brick wall.
There was also a tree with a swing tied to it where children often played.
According to local residents, Rohit was trying to jump over the wall when it suddenly gave way and fell on him. Some nearby children saw the incident and immediately ran to inform his family.
Family members and neighbours rushed to the spot, removed the debris, and took Rohit to the district hospital in a critical condition. Sadly, doctors at the trauma centre declared him dead after examination.
Rohit was the middle child among three brothers, elder brother Eenshu and younger brother Mohit. His mother, Rinki Khatik, and other family members are devastated by his sudden death.

Locals said the wall had been in poor condition for a long time. Though people had raised concerns and asked for repairs, the plot owner reportedly ignored the warnings.
Now, residents are demanding strict action against the owner so that such tragic incidents do not happen again.
Police and the local administration have started an investigation. The body has been sent for post-mortem and later handed over to the family.
