Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): Another rape case was reported within 24 hours in Madhya Pradesh, where a 25-year-old woman was allegedly raped at gunpoint in Bhind district, as reported on Thursday.
According to information, the incident occurred in Mucha village under Raun police station limits. The accused was identified as Neeraj Rajawat from Chowkipura Dohai, who is on the run at present.
According to police, the woman, a resident of Mihona, had come to her parents’ home in Mucha village about a month ago. She had recently become acquainted with the accused.
On the morning of the incident, the woman went out to relieve herself when Neeraj allegedly approached her, dragged her to a deserted spot, and threatened her with a gun.
He reportedly told her that if she did not comply, he would kill her and bury her on the spot.

After sometime, the woman’s father found her and took her home. She told her mother about the incident, and the family went to the police station to file a complaint.
Raun police station in-charge Ashutosh Sharma said a case has been registered under Section 376 of the IPC, and efforts are underway to arrest the accused.
