17-Year-Old School Hangs Self To Death In Bhopal, Reason Still Unknown

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A school girl reportedly hanged herself to death in the bathroom of her residence in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal on Tuesday night.

According to information, this incident was reported in Bhopal's Gunga area. The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Anikta Pal, daughter of Hem Singh Pal.

As soon as informed, the police registered a case on the matter and sent the body for post-mortem.

The reason behind the suicide is yet unknown. However, the police have launched an investigation in the matter and have started interrogating the family members to find out the exact reason.

The police informed that she was a Class 11 student. Around 1:45 a.m., she went to the bathroom and took the extreme step. Her body was found hanging with a noose made from a dupatta.

She could be only found the other morning after her mother went to the washroom.

The family members then rushed her to the hospital in a hurry, where the doctors declared her dead on arrival.

No suicide note found

So far, no suicide note has been found from he deceased, due to which the reason behind her taking the extreme step is still uncertain.

The reason is expected to be revealed on the basis of the findings of the investigations and interrogations. The body was handed over to the family members after the post-mortem on Wednesday.
