Narsinghpur (Madhya Pradesh): An eleven-year-old girl hanged herself to death after her mother refused to give her Rs 5 in Narsinghpur on Monday.

The incident happened in Imaliya Norgpur village, located in the Tendukheda police station area of Narsinghpur district.

The Incident

The girl, who came from a laborer's family, had asked her mother for ₹5 to buy some biscuits. However, due to the family's financial constraints, her mother was unable to give her the money and had to refuse.

Distressed and upset by the refusal, the young girl, overwhelmed by her emotions, tragically decided to take the extreme step and hanged herself in their home.

This heartbreaking incident has left the family in shock, and the community is mourning the loss of such a young life.

At the time of the tragic incident, the girl's parents were away from home, working to support their family, leaving her alone in the house.

Sadly, when they returned, they were devastated to find their daughter’s lifeless body.

Upon receiving the distressing news, the Tendukheda police rushed to the scene and conducted an initial investigation.

The body was then transported to the community health center for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

The authorities have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter to understand the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking event.
