Ferrari 12Cilindri India Launch: Rs 8.50 Crore Price Tag, V12 Power & More

Ferrari has launched its new flagship supercar, the 12Cilindri, in India, priced at Rs 8.50 crore for the coupe and Rs 9.15 crore for the spider variant. This V12-powered model, which debuted globally in May 2024, replaces the Ferrari 812 in the brand’s lineup. The 12Cilindri retains the 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, delivering similar performance to the limited-edition 812 Competizione, further reinforcing Ferrari’s commitment to high-performance engineering and luxury craftsmanship.

The Ferrari 12Cilindri introduces a fresh take on design, drawing inspiration from the iconic 365 GTB/4 ‘Daytona’. Compared to its predecessor, the new model is slightly taller, longer, and wider, with a 20mm shorter wheelbase. Its aggressive front features rectangular headlights combined with a black accent, creating a striking low-set nose. The bonnet, adorned with horseshoe vents, complements the curvy fenders, giving the car a bold presence. At the rear, the 12Cilindri boasts rising buttresses and a blacked-out rear glass, with side panels finished in black. The slim, strip-like tail lamps and an exposed carbon fibre diffuser complete the modern aesthetic of this supercar.

The Ferrari 12Cilindri, a successor to the 812, blends modern design with a nod to classic Ferrari styling. It boasts a longer, wider, and slightly taller body, while a 20 mm shorter wheelbase enhances agility. The exterior features rectangular headlights, horseshoe vents on the bonnet, and rising rear buttresses, alongside sleek tail lamps and a carbon fiber diffuser. Inside, the cabin adopts Ferrari’s latest dual-cockpit style, with a 10.25-inch touchscreen at the center and a 15.6-inch digital display for the driver. The 12Cilindri’s heart is its 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, delivering 819 bhp and 678 Nm of torque, with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission offering quicker shifts for enhanced performance.

In India, the Ferrari 12Cilindri faces competition from several luxury and performance-oriented supercars, including the Lamborghini Aventador, Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, and McLaren 750S.
