Washington DC: In a show of support for Elon Musk, United States President Donald Trump purchased a new Tesla car on Tuesday, picked by the company CEO. Trump showed support for Musk at a time when Tesla showrooms have been attacked people are not happy with Musk for supports the US President's political agenda.
Musk lined up a fleet of Tesla for Trump so that he could choose from the options and he also helped the US President in the selection process. Musk is leading Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

"Wow, that's beautiful," Trump said as he selected the red-coloured Model X. The duo also inspected a Cybertruck. Musk pointed out to its bulletproof design. After the US President selected the Model X, Musk sat on the passenger seat.
While entering into the car, Trump jokingly said, "Giving the Secret Service a heart attack."
The White House also tweeted images of Trump and Musk with the new car with the caption. "Get in, patriots—we have a country to save.🇺🇸 @ElonMusk helps President Trump pick his new @Tesla !"
Trump also praised the car, "Number one, it's a great product, as good as it gets—and number two, because @ElonMusk has devoted his energy and his life to doing this and I think he has been treated very unfairly," he tweeted.
While speaking to reporters, Musk vowed to double the sale of tesla in the US. "As a function of the great policies of President Trump and his administration, and as an act of faith in America, Tesla is going to DOUBLE vehicle output in the United States within the next two years," Musk stated.
Tesla's shares dropped sharply after Musk took charge of DOGE.
