Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif Addresses National Assembly After Indian Strikes, Says 'PAF Shot Down 5 Of 80 Jets' (VIDEO)

In his address to the National Assembly, Shehbaz Sharif said that the Pakistan Air Force was ready and waiting for the Indian aircrafts to enter their country and throw them into the sea. He also said that Pakistan downed 5 Rafale jets and 2 drones.

Islamabad (Pakistan), May 7: Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday addressed the National Assembly after Indian missile strikes at several locations early today. The attack came as a surprise and jolted the entire country. In his address to the National Assembly, Shehbaz Sharif said that the Pakistan Air Force was ready and waiting for the Indian aircrafts to enter their country and throw them into the sea. He also said that Pakistan downed 5 Rafale jets and 2 drones.

He also congratulated the country and said that the Pakistan Air Force was able to retaliate and made the night a historic one. He also said that many Pakistanis lost their lives in the attack, including children, men and women. He also extended his condolences for the people who lost their lives on the attack.

He further said that the Pahalgam terror attack which occurred on April 22 in Jammu and Kashmir, India blamed Pakistan for the attack. He also reminded about the train hijack incident which occurred in Balochistan. He said that India was responsible for the attack.

He said that the Pahalgam attack occurred while he was in Turkey and he was informed about the attack in Ankara. He announced that Pakistan is not involved in the attack and also invited an investigation into the matter. Pakistan is ready to cooperate in the investigation, however, India rejected the offer.

Pakistan PM further said that every single day after the Pahalgam terror attack, they were getting information that the Indian Air Force will conduct an attack any given day. He also said that the Pakistan Air Force was ready to retaliate.

He also said that India takes pride on the newly inducted Rafale fighter jets. He claimed that few days ago, PAF blocked the communication of the jets and they had to land near Srinagar. He also said that they had information about the attacks which was being carried out by India. He said that there were a total of 80 fighter jets involved in the attack and they conducted strikes in six locations of the country.

However, PAF was ready and attacked the Indian fighter jets after they released the payload. He claimed that they were able to down five of the Rafale jets and one of the aircrafts fell in Punjab's Bhatinda. He also said that they also downed two drones in counter attack.

He said that this was a conventional warfare and Pakistan was able to beat India in this conventional warfare. He also said that the world now knows that the Pakistan Army is capable of defending themselves and will also be able to help them during the tough times.
