Pakistan's Ambassador to Russia, Muhammad Khalid Jamali, has escalated tensions with India by warning that Islamabad will employ its "full spectrum of power," including nuclear weapons, if India initiates an attack.

In an interview with RT, Jamali cited leaked documents suggesting that India plans to strike certain areas of Pakistan, describing the situation as "imminent." He emphasised that Pakistan's armed forces, supported by the people, would respond decisively to the situation.

Pakistan's Nuclear Arsenal Ready for Deployment

Minister Hanif Abbasi further raised concerns by asserting that Pakistan's missile arsenal, including Ghori, Shaheen, and Ghaznavi missiles, along with 130 nuclear warheads, is "only for India." He warned that any attempt by India to halt Pakistan's water supply through the Indus Waters Treaty would lead to a "full-scale war."

Abbasi also criticised India's suspension of the treaty and mocked the country's response, suggesting that India's actions were leading to significant disruptions.

Pakistan Suspends Simla Agreement

In response to India's strong measures following the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 people, Pakistan has suspended the Simla Agreement and closed its airspace to Indian flights.

The Pakistani military also conducted unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) for consecutive nights, and Indian troops effectively responded. Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif stated that while the country is on high alert, it would only use nuclear weapons if there is a direct threat to its existence.

The escalating rhetoric and military preparations from both nations have raised concerns of a potential war.
