Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei delivered a stern warning to former US President Donald Trump during the ongoing tensions, stating, "They [the US] should direct their threats at those who fear being threatened."
On the sixth day of hostilities, Khamenei took to social media platform X on Wednesday to declare, "The US President threatens us with his absurd rhetoric, demanding the Iranian people surrender to him. Such threats hold no power over our nation."
In a another post, the Supreme Leader emphasised, "It demonstrates poor judgement to command the Iranian people to capitulate. Surrender to what? We shall never yield to aggression. This embodies both Iran's principled stance and national character."
Khamenei accused the US of interference in the conflict, warning, "American involvement would prove entirely counterproductive. The consequences they would face outweigh any potential damage to Iran. Military intervention would incur irreparable losses for the United States."

The Supreme Leader revealed the attack occurred during indirect negotiations between Iranian and US officials. "Iran had displayed no military intentions whatsoever," he asserted.
Khamenei expressed conviction regarding US involvement, stating, "While we initially suspected American complicity in Israel's hostile actions, their recent statements have substantially strengthened these suspicions."
Khamenei's warning comes a day after US President Donald Trump made a series of dramatic statements on social media, warning Iranās leadership of potential military action. āWe know exactly where the so-called Supreme Leader is hiding,ā Trump wrote, calling Khamenei āan easy target." He added, "we are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.ā
