Moscow: A Russian passenger plane An-24 went missing on Thursday, reported Reuters. There are 50 passengers aboard the plane.

Emergency services are pressed into action to track the plane. The aircraft was operated by a Siberia-based airline called Angara.

The local emergency ministry, radar signal from the plane was lost when it approached its destination of Tynda. Notably, the town is situated in the Amur region near the China border.
