Yoga guru and Patanjali founder Baba Ramdev has blocked Bryan Johnson from his X account after the tech mogul commented about the worsened air quality in Haridwar. On Tuesday, Ramdev shared a video where he is seen jogging alongside a horse. He asserted that utilizing specific Patanjali products can offer anti-aging advantages and enhanced immunity.
In a video post, Ramdev stated, "घोड़े की तरह तेज़ दौड़ने की ताक़त, Strong Immunity, Anti-aging और Power चाहिए तो Swarn Shilajit व Immunogrit Gold खाइए" which translates to: "To run like a horse, enhance your immunity and promote anti-aging by taking Swarna Shilajit and Immunogrit Gold."
In reaction to Ramdev's video, Bryan Johnson highlighted that the air quality in Haridwar, where Ramdev resides, is so bad that inhaling it heightens the risk of heart and lung illnesses.
Ramdev blocked Bryan Johnson on X after the businessman remarked on a post endorsing Patanjali products, drawing attention to India's air quality concerns.
Bryan Johnson posted his comment while informing about being blocked by the Yoga guru. The post caption reads, "I replied with this comment and he hid it and blocked me: Air quality in Haridwar right now is PM₂.₅ 36 µg/m³ which is equal to smoking 1.6 cigarettes a day. This raises risks of heart disease by 40–50%, lung cancer by 3x, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and early death (5–7 years lost)."
Johnson, who had earlier exited Nikhil Kamath's podcast due to air pollution, reacted by highlighting the air quality in Haridwar.
Johnson recently grabbed attention when he suddenly exited Nikhil Kamath's podcast, expressing worries about air pollution in India. Since that time, he has consistently emphasized the deteriorating air quality in the country.
The millionaire, famous for investing millions in his rigorous anti-aging routine, stated that his short visit to India had already resulted in multiple health problems because of the poor air quality.
"During my time in India, I needed to conclude this podcast prematurely due to poor air quality." Nikhil Kamath was a generous host, and we were enjoying ourselves immensely. The problem was that the room we occupied circulated outside air, rendering the air purifier I brought useless," Johnson subsequently clarified.
