Imagine if your favourite snack could also be your outfit. Well, thanks to AI, it’s happening! From dosa sarees to idli shirt and jalebi hair stick, food and fashion have amusingly swapped places in a deliciously weird AI-generated footage.
An Instagram video, posted on April 27 by user ‘hoohoocreations80’, imagined delicious food items getting their wearable versions.
The video opened with a woman draped in a saree, far from any ordinary fabric. This saree carried the texture and hues of a big dosa, with the rich golden brown and off-white tones that perfectly captured the essence of the South Indian delight.
The dosa-themed saree threw light on a playful yet artistic exploration of how AI can turn foods into style statements.

Seconds into the clip, viewers were introduced to an ice cream clutch.
Its three vibrant flavours were represented in pink, off-white, and green. The bag’s soft, oozing texture even featured a small section that hung down as if the ice cream was melting.
Next up was a man sporting a shirt filled with steamed idlis. Oh wow, really? The buttons of the shirt were uniquely designed to look like tiny versions of idlis.
That wasn’t all.
The AI-generated visuals went on to imagine a wide range of dishes in a fashion format, including a bread sandwich trolley bag, wristwatches designed like a pani puri and gulab jamun, a popcorn dupatta, potato chip earrings, and even a jalebi hair stick.

The video was posted online with the caption, “What if the food we love wasn't just meant to be eaten... but worn, carried, and lived with?”.
The post quickly went viral, amassing over six lakh likes and sparking a flood of comments.
One user wrote, “Golgappa watch is epic,” while another shared excitement for the ice cream bag and jamun watch.
A third comment simply said, “Dosa all-time my favorite,” expressing admiration for the wearable dosa-inspired saree.
