All about the viral video
The incident occurred when Shivakumar went cycling at an event celebrating World Environment Day. While the special day is marked on June 5, the Bengaluru-based event was carried out on Tuesday.
The Eco-walk saw the participation of the Deputy CM who flagged it off before riding a bicycle back to Vidhana Soudha.
Sharing about his ride on X, the politician wrote, "In the corridors of power, I chose a cycle - because progress doesn’t always need horsepower, just people power."
In the now-viral video, Shivakumar was perhaps concluding his ride and parking it at the Vidhana Soudha when he tumbled. Dressed in a t-shirt and track pant, with a Louis Vuitton scarf around his neck, he rode his cycle across the city roads during the event.
While he rode well, like a pro, on the streets of Bengaluru, he struggled a bit while stepping off his cycle. The moment was caught on camera and shared widely online.
Comments

As the video of his 'Oops' moment went viral, netizens reacted hilariously, with many sharing laughter emojis in the comments section.
"Hold on bro…. Aaramse (Slowly)," one user wrote. "What a meme," said another, finding the potential of this unedited video turning into a meme on social media.
"Royal Challenge..."
A few X users also questioned whether he was drunk at the moment, noting how he lost his balance while getting off the cycle. This led many to recall his earlier comment referencing the popular alcohol brand, Royal Challenge.
"I am not a mad man. I'm just a member of the Karnataka Cricket Association from my younger days, that's all. I don't have time, though I had offers to be part of the management... Why do I need RCB? I don't even drink Royal Challenge," he told ANI, refuting rumours of him buying the IPL franchise.

One X user wrote, "Looks like still under royal influence." Another netizen asked, "Yav brand, guru? (Which brand, sir?)," asking what he had consumed if not Royal Challenge.
