A video of a man loudly urging Thane-bound passengers to move forward and queue up near the door of a crowded Mumbai local train coach has gone viral, drawing mixed reactions from the internet.

The man, identified as Adhikari Kulprasad Ramnath, was travelling on the second-class general coach of a Central Railway train when he decided to scream and record a reel. He captured some visuals from the packed coach with his dramatic noisy appeal.

The clip, which surfaced on Instagram, opened with Ramnath, who appears slightly older and wears glasses, adjusting his phone camera in the middle of a jam-packed coach. Slighting raising from his seat, he then loudly addresses fellow passengers, "Thane wale aage jao bhai fir chalne ko utarne ko milega nahi bhai (Thane passengers, move forward or you won’t get space to walk or get down)".

Panning his camera toward commuters, he then pointed out the massive crowd inside the coach, urging people to line up near the exit doors before the train reached Thane station. "Ye dekho (Look at this), he said.

After finishing his announcement, he pretended to be surprised about his camera recording him. "Arey video ban gaya kya? (Oh, did a video get created?), he said, followed by a quirky burst of laughter.

Internet reacts

While his message about orderly disembarkation was fair enough, it was his exaggerated tone and theatrical delivery that caught the attention of internet users.

As the video surfaced online, netizens trolled him for his dramatic and noisy performance on Mumbai's public transport.

One user bluntly commented, “Uncle, bass karo.” Others added, “That’s why I prefer first class,” suggesting they preferred to get rid of such reel craze moments. “Aramat bol, kaka (Speak calmly, uncle), wrote another, highlighting the annoyance felt by some passengers and viewers online.
