She pointed out that he refused to turn on the AC, threatened to kick her belly, and asked her to leave the vehicle midway. The incident took place when she booked the cab from Cherry County in Noida Extension to Saket, New Delhi.

"Tere pet mein laat maar ke baccha gira dunga (I will kick your stomach and make you lose the baby)... Abhi aage dekho kya kya hota hai (You wait and watch what happens next)", he kept threatening her throughout the ride.

The woman shared details of the Ola ride online and asked the company to take strict action against him. Tagging CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, she posted, "This behaviour is absolutely unacceptable and has caused me immense stress and fear. I strongly urge you to take immediate and strict legal action against the driver".

Netizens react

The LinkedIn post soon went viral. Netizens supported the woman and slammed the Ola service over this unacceptable experience. "Shocking! Hope you are doing better", one wrote. "Ola Bhavish Aggarwal kindly look into it on priority", added another. "This is an almost regular issue- when drivers become aggressive when asked to switch on the AC, they start abusing and threatening. No amount of complaint is of any help", read another comment.

Ola addresses the incident

The woman informed IndiaToday.in that she lodged a complaint about the incident with Ola's customer support and also reported the incident to the women's helpline. "We would like to apologise for the unfortunate incident that happened on your ride with Ola cabs," the company reportedly replied.
