Japanese content creator Koki Shishido, who hails from Tokyo and now resides in Mumbai, recently introduced his grandparents to a beloved Indian street food—pani puri. But instead of simply ordering the dish, Koki took things into his own hands and prepared it for them almost from scratch, making the experience even more special.
The clip showed him preparing the dish at the kitchen before serving it to the elderly couple. From chopping potatoes to frying the puris, he carefully crafted the chaat delicacy step by step. He then got seated next to his grandparents and guided them how to eat pani puri by breaking a portion of the crispy shell, adding a mix of the spicy tangy water and sweetness along with some mashed potatoes.

The video opened with Koki excitedly saying, "Namaste doston! Aaj mein apne daada daadi ke liye pani puri banaugi (Hello friends! Today, I will make pani puri for my grandpa and grandma)".
As he walked from the kitchen and presented the chaat item on the dining table, viewers were keen to note the reactions of the grandparents who tried the golgappas for the very first time in their lives.

First, the grandmother popped a puri into her mouth. Her reaction was nothing short of delightful. As the flavors hit, her eyes lit up, and with her mouth still stuffed, she gave an enthusiastic thumbs-up, making it clear that she was absolutely loving it.
However, the video ended it could record how the grandpa felt after eating the dish. This left many wondering if he enjoyed the dish or not.

Earlier Koki made his grandparents try few other Indian delicacies. He offered them with a pack of aloo bhujia sev, Khatta Meetha snack pouch, and a pulse candy. They gave the dishes a mixed reaction, but believed they can't survive on Indian food as it didn't much appeal their tastebuds.
