Amit Kishore sent a legal notice to the Ghaziabad Municipal Commissioner through his lawyer. He has alleged that his car was damaged due to the negligence in cleaning the city drains. He also alleged corruption in drain maintenance and failure to act on citizens' complaints.

He has also blamed allowing illegal encroachments and lack of preparation for the monsoon for water-logging in the city.
