Vivo T4R 5G smartphone has launched in India just weeks after the company announced the launch of the Vivo X200 FE and the Vivo X Fold 5. The new model comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, a dual rear camera setup that houses one 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor. It also features a 120Hz quad-curved AMOLED display. The Vivo T4R 5G, at its price point, is likely to compete with the Moto G8 Power and the Redmi Note 14 5G.

Coming to the price, the Vivo T4R 5G is priced in India at Rs. 19,499 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage option, Rs. 21,499 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage option, and Rs. 23,499 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option. The phone will go on sale from August 5 and it will be available on Flipkart, Vivo India website, and select retail stores. The Vivo T4R comes in Twilight Blue and Arctic White colour options.

As for specifications, the Vivo T4R 5G comes equipped with a 6.77-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display offering a resolution of 1,080 x 2,392 pixels. The screen features a quad-curved design, supports a 120Hz refresh rate, and delivers peak brightness levels of up to 1,800 nits. It is HDR10+ certified and carries SGS certification for low blue light emissions, enhancing both visual quality and eye comfort.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It runs on Android 15 with Vivo's custom FuntouchOS 15 skin on top, offering the latest software features.

In terms of photography, the Vivo T4R 5G houses a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens. On the front, it sports a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Both front and rear cameras are capable of shooting 4K videos.

The device is backed by a 5,700mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging. It also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust and splashes. For added security, the phone features an in-display optical fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The handset is sleek and lightweight, measuring 7.39 mm in thickness and weighing 183.5 grams.
