Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 foldable phones are all set to launch in globally, including India, today. The annual ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event will be held in New York and will be live streamed for all users to see. Samsung has been taking pre-reservations for the two phones in India, offering a chance to win Rs. 5,999 in vouchers. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is said to lighter and slimmer than the predecessor.

The chance to pre-reserve the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will end at 7pm IST today i.e. just half an hour before the event begins. Once the user pre-reserves, they will receive the Galaxy Pre-reserve VIP Pass through email and message on their registered email and mobile number. Samsung notes that referral points, welcome vouchers, or loyalty points cannot be used for the pre-reserve purchase.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025: What to expect
Samsung is calling the upcoming foldable smartphones as the “next chapter” of Galaxy. The phones are largely rumoured to retain the form factor, but see improvements in sleekness and weight. Samsung has teased the introduction of “next-generation Galaxy devices with a new AI-powered interface”. It is likely to integrate support for Galaxy AI and bring AI-centric features. The three features highlighted by Samsung include Circle Search, Live Translate, and Photo Assist.
There’s also a rumour of a tri-folding smartphone by Samsung, but we recommend you take these rumours with a grain salt. It is also tipped that Samsung may unveil a ‘FE’ model of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 as well. In addition, the tech giant may also unveil the Galaxy Watch 8 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
