Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly hired a new team of security personnel following threats made against his family. The concerns regarding his safety in Saudi Arabia emerged after several disturbing threats were shared on social media, targeting Ronaldo and his partner.
According to the Malaysian news outlet New Straits Times, Despite living a peaceful life in the Middle East, the situation escalated when threatening images and messages were posted online. In response, Ronaldo decided to appoint a new security team, which includes an "intimidating" bodyguard to ensure the safety of his family. However the question is who is this bodyguard?

According to a report in Marca, Claudio Miguel Vaz is a seasoned professional who goes by the name @Iworkasyoursecurity on social media. As per the Daily Mail report, Vaz made a name for himself by protecting popular Portuguese musicians, including rapper NGA. He has since worked with prominent Portuguese players like Rafael Leao and Gelson Martins.
According to goal.com report, Vaz’s style is said to have raised eyebrows in Ronaldo’s inner circle, as he favours an "intimidating and aggressive" way of working. He made headlines when disrupting photographers during Georgina’s visit to Paris Fashion Week.
Ronaldo is raising five children, two with Rodriguez and three from previous relationships. The family have been living in Saudi Arabia since Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in early 2023.
