With Aaron Jones establishing himself as a highly promising prospect after his belligerent innings in the T20 World Cup 2024 opener against Canada in Dallas, an old tweet from 2013 of the USA batter has emerged. The tweet surfaced after his innings says how he is watching Virat Kohli videos.

Kohli, who has already established himself as the best all-format batter, began his rise during those years. The 35-year-old now averages 50+ in both forms of white-ball cricket and nearly has that number even in Test cricket.
The tweet said as below:
"Watching some Virat Kohli videos"
Chasing a daunting 195 for victory, the 29-year-old strode to the crease in the 7th over of the innings when Monank Patel edged one to the keeper. The right-hander shared a breezy 141-run stand with Andries Gous to set up the win, with the latter departing for 65.
"I thought anything under 200 is chaseable" - Aaron Jones
During the post-match presentation after the seven-wicket win over Canada, Jones asserted that pressure brings out the best in him.
"I don't think it is easy to put it into words. Happy to get my team over the line. I thought anything under 200 is chaseable. We wanted to play aggressive cricket. I think I go through my process while I practice. To be honest, when my team is under pressure it gets the best out of me."
USA will next face Pakistan on June 6th in New York.
