Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited the La Liga headquarters, located in Madrid, Spain as part of his tour of the European country. With the three-day tour of Spain branded as an investment-boosting opportunity, Yadav interacted with some of the officials at the La Liga office land lauded them for providing good facilities to nurture young footballers.
Spain has arguably been a hub of some of the most elite footballers in this world, with La Liga establishing itself as among the best competition in the sport. The likes of Sergio Ramos, Andres Iniesta, Xavi, Gerard Pique, David Villa, Raul and Iker Casillas are some of the best Spanish athletes to have played the sport.

Speaking to ANI News, Yadav suggested that he is inspired by how well Spain is giving the platform to their upcoming footballers and wishes to do the same in India.
"I visited the LaLiga office where players from different countries play and young talents are nurtured by providing good training and facilities... LaLiga is playing a huge role in promoting football. They have signed an MoU with the central government and our state... The Madhya Pradesh government is committed to providing the best facilities to the youth interested in playing football so that they can bring laurels to the country in sports."
