Portuguese and Al-Nassr footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has added yet another goal to his tally as their side secured a 2-1 victory over Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League fixture on Thursday (January 30). The goal also became the 39-year-old's 921st goal overall as he inches closer to the 1000-goal milestone.

The 35th minute of the game saw the Portuguese striker score the first goal as Croatian mid-fielder Marcelo Brozovic came up with a perfect assist, causing Ronaldo to chip in with a low drive into the bottom right corner as the ball surpassed the goalkeeper's hands and went in. The veteran footballer followed it up with a trademark celebration and assisted Nawaf Boushal in the second half as Al-Nassr gathered a 2-0 lead. Amir Sayoud netted a consolation goal for Al-Raed but it was Al-Nassr, who had registered their third consecutive win.

Meanwhile, the match between Al-Nassr and Al-Raeed saw the spectators at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium chant Ronaldo's long-time rival's name Lionel Messi to put him off his game. The 39-year-old got involved in the battle by asking fans to increase the tempo of their chants.
At the same time, the veteran also cupped his hands as if to say he wasn't hearing them. Meanwhile, Ronaldo's 921st career goal was his 15th of the season in 17 games.
