Team India's latest pace sensation Anshul Kamboj managed to get his first Test wicket as he denied Ben Duckett a hundred on day two of the decisive fourth Test against England at the Old Trafford in Manchester. With Duckett well set on 94, the left-hander tried to crack a boundary on the off-side but only managed an edge through to the keeper.

The dismissal occurred in the 39th over of the innings as Indian captain Shubman Gill brought in Kamboj for his second spell. With the right-arm seamer coming in from around the wicket, he fired the ball wide outside off-stump and Duckett slashed at it. With the ball bouncing more than he expected to, all the Nottinghamshire opener managed was an edge behind the stumps.

Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley lay solid foundation for England with 166-run opening partnership

Despite both Duckett and Zak Crawley missing out on well-deserved hundreds, they have given England an advantage at the end of day two at the Old Trafford Cricket Stadium in Manchester. The pair stitched a 166-run partnership only in 31.6 overs, pouncing on some loose bowling from Jasprit Bumrah, Anshul Kamboj and Mohammed Siraj.

Ravindra Jadeja gave the tourists their first breakthrough by dismissing Crawley for 84. With England reaching 225/2 at stumps, they trail by 133 runs ahead of day 3. The visiting side started the post-lunch session at 321/6 and went on to manage 358 before being bowled out. Ben Stokes took his first fifer for the first time since September 2017, while Jofra Archer snared four. Rishabh Pant had attracted plenty of spotlight due to walking out to bat despite a swollen toe and scoring a useful 54.

Team India are currently 2-1 down in the five-Test series and must win in Manchester, a venue that they are yet to conquer.
