Former Team India oach Ravi Shastri reveals his chat with Rishabh Pant about the finger injury he suffered before the India vs England 4th Test. Pant took a blow to the tip of his left index finger while attempting to stop a wide delivery. The BCCI shared a video about Shastri praising Team India's vice captain.
Speaking about Pant's resiliance, Shastri said, " Before the Test i asked him "how is the finger, tuta toh nahi hal" . He said, 'of course, i will play this game. Tuta bhi hota toh bhi khelta."
Shastri praises Pant for battign with pain
Rishabh Pant scored a fine half century carrying immense pain from the toe injury. Praising Rishabh for batting through the pain during India's first innings Shastri said, "For him to comeback and do what he did was omething special. Sometimes otivation goes to another level. What he did today for the team if that does not lift the team nothing will. Ovation he got while going back and coming out and apprecation from England players thats what you play for and thats what makes heroes."

Pant shows nerves of steel but England dominate Day 2
With India needing runs on the board, Pant decided to take the crease and bat through the pain. He receivesd huge round of applause upon entering the field for batting. Palkying through the pain, Pant smashed 53 runs, before getting bowled by Jofra Archer.
