WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin has revealed that he declined a massive offer from Logan Paul, who wanted him to appear in a Prime bottle costume during WrestleMania 41.
Logan Paul, the YouTuber-turned-WWE superstar and co-owner of the Prime energy drink brand, said on his podcast Impaulsive that he had offered Austin $1 million to dress up as a Prime mascot for the show. However, Austin refused and wasn’t too thrilled about Paul publicly sharing the offer.
Reacting on The Ariel Helwani Show, Austin acknowledged that Paul’s claim was likely true, but expressed his surprise at the matter being discussed openly
He said, “If he said that, I’m not going to call him a liar. I just thought it was personal business.” Austin explained that he turned down the offer because the idea didn’t align with who he is and more importantly, he didn’t want to promote a product he wasn’t familiar with. I’m in the beer business. I don’t know anything about his product, its ingredients, whether it’s good or bad. It just wasn’t my thing.”
Stone Cold has been building his own beverage brand for years. In 2015, he partnered with El Segundo Brewing to launch the popular Broken Skull IPA, later expanding the lineup with Broken Skull American Lager in 2022.
Steve Austin Addresses ATV Mishap at WrestleMania 41
Stone Cold Steve Austin may have stolen the spotlight at WrestleMania 41 but not quite the way he intended. The WWE Hall of Famer made his trademark entrance at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, riding his familiar ATV down the ramp and circling the ring. However, the moment quickly turned into a viral incident when Austin accidentally crashed into the barricade separating the fans from the ring.
Speaking later in an interview with Ariel Helwani, Austin explained that the accident was caused by an unexpected mechanical issue. He said,“It was just a different throttle setup than what I’m used to,” he said. “I’m usually pretty good with a four-wheeler, but this one caught me off guard.”
Austin admitted he was embarrassed by the incident, especially given the scale of the event. He added, “You want to give people the best performance you can on the biggest stage, and when something like that happens, it doesn’t feel great,” he said. “I think everyone’s okay, thankfully, but yeah not my finest moment.”
