Hasin Jahan demands ₹10 Lakh alimony per month from Mohammed Shami
Mohammed Shami's wife, Hasin Jahan, has demanded ₹10 Lakh maintenance money from the cricketer, with ₹4 Lakh per month being a less amount. The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday directed the Indian cricketer to pay ₹1.5 lakh to her wife and ₹2.5 lakh to her daughter monthly.
Speaking to PTI, Hasin Jahan said, "The lifestyle that Shami Ahmed lives ₹4 lakh is less. We had demanded ₹10 Lakh every month for seven years and four months back. Now that the cost of things has also increased, we will go for 'CAVEAT'."
She furrther added,"This order by Calcutta High Court is a huge win for me. While I respect the judgment by the court, i feel that as per Shami Ahmed's status, we should receive more money so that i can easily maintain my daughter's future."
Hasin Jahan had originally sought ₹10 lakh in total, ₹7 lakh for herself and ₹3 lakh for her daughter, but the lower court dismissed her request.
