WWE star Logan Paul derided the fans in the latest episode of Smack Down held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey as it also proved to be the last before Summer Slam 2025. With the crowd booing both him and Drew McIntyre ahead of their Summer Slam bout against Randy Orton and Jelly Roll, Paul particularly took a potshot at a fan wearing a green T-shirt.
It was in the July 4 episode of Smack Down that McIntyre interrupted Orton, taunting the 'Legend Killer' for not beating Cody Rhodes in the King of The Ring final and claimed that the 'legend of Orton was dead'. Meanwhile, Jelly Roll, who performed in the subsequent episode of Smack Down, was branded an outsider by Paul and Orton demanded that he shows respect. In the following weeks, there were back and forth attacks on one another. Hence, a tag team match was set up at Summer Slam.
