As Messi entered Hard Rock Stadium, he greeted former football legends like Pepe. Standing nearby was iShowSpeed, who is a huge fan of Cristiano Ronaldo. Messi walked past him without saying anything or making eye contact. iShowSpeed was visibly at a loss for words upon catching a glimpse of Messi, as his stunned expression was clear in video footage.

The veteran footballer was denied a well-deserved as the ball marginally missed from entering inside the net as the crowd's noise was at its highest.

The incident occurred during the 64th minute of the match against Al Ahly as Messi opted for a free kick and kicked the ball along the ground. The ball had spun enough but was inches away from going inside the goal. The crowd noise was at its highest even as Messi held his hand above his head at missing the opportunity.

The World Cup-winner also had another shy at the goal but it was tipped over it by the goalkeeper, preventing Inter Miami from taking the lead.
